Urban Horseman’s lessons are designed to teach various disciplines and students are taught everything from grooming and tacking a horse to correct seat positions and communication through horse behavior. We have a wide variety of lesson horses from easy going and quiet to energetic and a “go-go-go” personality for riders looking for more of a challenge.
Our major focus is to teach proper and safe handling of horses so every student develops that special relationship with their horse.
Longe line lessons, confidence building and goal setting are all part of your lesson program. All lessons are designed for you and your specific needs. We specialize in children and first time riders as well as riders who are returning after a fall/injury or fearful riders. We work on confidence building and safe handling of horses from the ground up.
